Do I need jet ski experience to ride in Key West?

No previous experience is required. Our certified guides provide full instructions and a safety briefing before every ride. Jet skis are beginner-friendly and easy to operate.

What do I need to bring?

Valid photo ID (driver’s license or passport)

Sunglasses, sunscreen, and swimwear
A towel and water shoes, if preferred

Life jackets and safety equipment are provided.

What is the minimum age to ride a jet ski?

You must be 18 or older to rent or operate a jet ski.

Passengers can ride from age 6 and up, depending on weight and weather conditions.

Florida law requires that anyone born after January 1, 1988 must present a Boater’s Safety Certificate.

(We provide a safe, online temporary Boater’s Safety test if needed — takes 15 minutes.)

How long is the jet ski tour in Key West?

Tours typically last 90 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the package. Private and extended scenic tours may be available upon request.

Can two people ride on the same jet ski?

Yes. Two adults or one adult and one child can ride together, subject to weight and safety limits (usually around 400 lbs / 180 kg).

What if the weather is bad?

If conditions are unsafe (high winds, storms, strong current), tours may be rescheduled or refunded according to the weather policy. We monitor the weather closely for your safety.

Do I need a reservation, or can I walk in?

Walk-ins are allowed but not guaranteed. Key West jet ski tours sell out frequently, especially on weekends and during holiday weeks. We recommend booking in advance online or by phone.

Is fuel included? Are there any extra fees?

Yes. Fuel, life jackets, safety gear, and guide fees are all included in the rental price.
Florida requires a temporary boating license for certain riders — a small state fee may apply.
